With a great passion for kids, Ms. Glenda Young believes that all students learn in a different capacity and she wants to equip them with the proper tools and information to facilitate the different ways in which they learn thereby ensuring their success.
She has over 20 years of experience in the field of education and holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s and an additional 72 hours in Special Education/Administration and Supervision. She has been with Plant A Seed for three years and currently serves as Board Member/Secretary/Treasurer. She got involved at the
encouragement of one of our other instructors. Her initial role was a substitute teacher that expanded as she got more
involved with the organization. The part of her work that she most enjoys is being able to work with at risk students in the community and watching them grow through a positive academic environment. Ms. Young currently resides in Bossier City, LA. In her spare time she enjoys sporting events, especially Grambling State University football games, traveling to visit family and friends, various church activities, cooking, and watching new and old movies.
